Hiking boots with the best cushioning
If you are looking for comfortable shoes for everyday use or for walking on the road, also think about running shoes with a lot of cushioning and a smooth gait. In case of sensitive feet and complaints such as heel spurs, definitely a good idea to try.
If you need more support or more grip, trail running shoes or the Brooks Zeal Walker are a good alternative.
Asics Gel Nimbus 25 and Asics Gel Kayano 30

The Asics Gel Nimbus 25 and the Kayano 30 have a very comfortable cushioning and transition. The shoes have a new Pure-Gel technology in the heel area to absorb shocks and promote a smooth transition from heel to toe. Also new is the FF BLAST PLUS ECO material in the cushioning midsole which provides more cushioning and a faster transition.

Brooks Glycerin and Glycerin GTS 20

Brooks uses DNA LOFT v3 foam in these shoes. This is a cushioning material with injected nitrogen, which offers a lot of comfort but is also reactive. This makes the Glycerin 20 an excellent daily training shoe for different types of surfaces.
The Brooks Glycerin 20 comes in a neutral and a more stable version, the Glycerin 20 GTS
HOKA BONDI 8

The Bondi 8 is HOKA's most cushioned shoe and one of the best highly cushioned running shoes you can find.
The latest Bondi model combines ample cushioning with a smooth roll-off. The Meta-Rocker in the midsole ensures that you maintain an easy roll-off even when you become fatigued. Additionally, the shoes are lightweight. Highly recommended for people with knee, heel spur, and osteoarthritis complaints (big toe joint).
New Balance 1080 V12

The 1080v12 is the improved version of the 1080 with better cushioning, lighter weight and more flexibility. The signature Fresh Foam X cushioning technology is combined with strategically placed support elements and a lightweight upper made of engineered mesh material for optimal breathability and sufficient stretch.
ON Cloud Stratus

Double damping in the Cloud Stratus
Two layers of CloudTec technology run the full length of the midsole, giving you optimal cushioning from heel to toe. A soft foam layer on top of the CloudTec ensures a comfortable landing, while the integrated Speedboard ensures a responsive push-off.
With a wider forefoot/toebox, the Cloudstratus 3 has more comfort and stability than ever before.
Saucony Triumph 21

The Saucony Triumph 21 has springy cushioning with every stride, making it a great everyday training shoe and one of the best cushioned running shoes in Saucony's range.
Saucony's new PWRRUN+ material in the midsole absorbs shock upon landing and provides a responsive transition. The shoe also has a rocker construction that provides a smooth transition from heel to forefoot.
This is the ideal shoe for long endurance runs on hard surfaces.
At RunX, we make a careful selection of running shoes. We draw on our years of experience, test the shoes ourselves in stores, and use data from various gait analysis testing methods. This allows us to find the (custom-fitted) running shoes with plenty of cushioning for you.
