The RunX Cross Circuit has been an annual cross-country running circuit in Haarlem and the surrounding area since 1989.
Cross is great running over rough terrain in the winter months, where you also work on technique and interval, an ideal preparation for your upcoming road and track races. But above all for the winter classic the Halve van Egmond.
For each cross, there is also a prize to be won for the top 3 per category. After the 4 crosses (best 3 rankings), the final ranking is drawn up and there is a final prize for the top 3 per category. The prizes are made available by RunX Haarlem, Saucony and Rademaker Sport (Born).
True to tradition, we start at Wheelerplanet Spaarndam with the Spaarnwoude Cross on Sunday, November 2. This is followed by the Haarlemmermeer Cross in Hoofddorp on Sunday, December 14. In 2026, we continue with the Beec Kestijn Cross by AV Suomi on Sunday, January 18, and conclude on Sunday, February 15 with the Mooie Nel Cross at Schoteroog (Haarlem), organized by Loopgroep 03 and Haarlem Atletiek.
Trailweek RunX Haarlem
From Saturday, October 18th to Sunday, October 26th, we're hosting a trail week at our store at Kruisstraat 7. During this week, we'll highlight some cross-country/trail products from our range, and you can take advantage of various cross-country/trail offers.
Cross/Trail clinic
To be as well prepared as possible, RunX Haarlem is organizing a Cross/Trail Clinic prior to the Cross Circuit on Sunday morning, October 26, at Schoteroog/Mooie Nel. There will also be an opportunity to try out Saucony cross/trail shoes. Participation is free, but you must register in advance via info@runxhaarlem.nl (no later than October 21!). Please be sure to provide your name, email address, and phone number.
