RunX Groningen: running shoes and sportswear

I received pleasant assistance with a warranty case where a small piece of stitching on one of the shoes had broken. There was no discussion; they were simply replaced with new shoes. Because the correct size was not in stock and the shoe had to be ordered anyway, I was even able to choose the color of the new shoes.

I always buy my running shoes at Run X in Groningen. I bought Asics a year ago, but after a year the shoes broke. I contacted Asics and Run X, and Run X offered me a new pair of identical Asics shoes. So the service there is great, so thanks Run X Groningen for this good service.

I had the opportunity to conduct my graduation research for RunX Groningen. During that research, I spoke with many customers and heard positive stories time and again.

As a thank you, I was allowed to pick out a pair of running shoes, so I was able to experience RunX for myself. First, I had a gait analysis, and based on that, we looked at which shoes would suit me best. I received really great help. They really take their time with you, are very knowledgeable, and help you well in finding the right shoes.

It's nice to experience it myself now after all those positive stories. I received some really nice shoes and I definitely recommend RunX if you want to do a gait analysis and/or are looking for new running shoes!

Yesterday (23-9) I went for a pair of sports/fitness shoes. I explained to the person helping me what I would be using them for; definitely not running 😊.
I tried on 3 pairs of shoes, and there was actually one among them that fit well. However, since I wasn't wearing the right socks, I agreed with her that I would try them on at home with the proper socks, as they fit well with my too-thin socks at the time (size 41), but I wear different socks when working out. I definitely tried on a larger size, but they still didn't fit quite right; they felt a bit big. In the end, I walked out the door with those Brooks size 41s. When I got home, I immediately tried them on with the right socks, but they still fit too tight at the front, especially the right one. And I discovered that I had bought running shoes😳! Even though I had said that I definitely don't use them for that... besides, I didn't find them very stable. I even Googled if this was the right shoe for my purpose; no, they said. Okay, now I know that they know what they are selling in the store, and that's what I assumed.
I went back with the shoes today and explained that I didn't have the right shoes for my purpose and that they didn't fit well with the right socks either.....
I definitely received good help yesterday, and again today, and they also explained why this choice was made. But he also understood me regarding stability. I tried on a size larger of the branded shoes I had, but I still didn't like them in terms of the sole and stability. I tried on others... and that felt a lot better... unfortunately black 😉 even though I love black, I wanted a different color for a change, but oh well! Never mind, they fit well. So thanks for the service, I'm happy with these shoes now! 👍🏻

Everything was absolutely fine. I made an appointment via the website and am very happy with the generous opening hours, as I also work in retail. I received good advice and ultimately walked out the door with lovely Asics.
